A creative and results-driven Marketing Manager to own our online & offline events and social media strategy. This individual will be instrumental in building our brand presence, engaging our community of customers and partners, and generating qualified leads for our sales team. If you have a passion for cutting-edge technology like Cloud, AI, and Security, and a proven track record of creating memorable events and impactful social media campaigns in the B2B tech space, this is the role for you. You will be responsible for communicating the value of our advanced cloud and AI solutions, including our specialized AI-Security and Manufacturing AI offerings, to a savvy technical audience.
This is primarily a US-Remote role but candidates should be located in the continental US and time zones, with the ability to travel when needed.
About the Role:
As a Marketing Manager for Events & Social Media, you will:
- Event Strategy & Execution: Plan, manage, and execute a diverse portfolio of online and in-person events, including webinars, technical workshops, industry trade shows, partner co-marketing events, and customer summits.
- End-to-End Event Management: Handle all aspects of event coordination, from initial concept and budgeting to speaker management, platform/venue sourcing, logistics, promotion, and post-event reporting.
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across key platforms (especially LinkedIn) to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads.
- Content Creation: Create and curate compelling, relevant content for relevant events and campaigns (copy, graphics, short-form video) that speaks to our technical audience and highlights our expertise in AWS, GCP, security, and AI.
- Campaign Management: Design and implement integrated digital marketing campaigns to promote events and key content, utilizing social media (organic and paid), email marketing, and partner channels.
- Lead Generation & Nurturing: Focus on converting event attendees and social media engagement into marketing qualified leads (MQLs), and work with the sales team to ensure effective follow-up and pipeline attribution.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing, sales, technical pre-sales, and partner alliance teams to ensure marketing activities are aligned with business objectives and go-to-market strategy.
- Analytics & Reporting: Measure, analyze, and report on the performance of all events and social media campaigns, using data to demonstrate return on investment (ROI) and inform future strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
Must-Have:
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, with a strong focus on event management (both virtual and in-person) and social media marketing.
- Proven experience working in the technology sector (e.g., Cloud, SaaS, AI technologies, IT Services, Cybersecurity) and ability to quickly learn new technologies and turn it into a marketing strategy and insights.
- Hands-on experience managing and executing corporate social media accounts (LinkedIn, etc.) and campaigns.
- Demonstrable experience in planning and executing lead-generating events such as webinars, hands-on workshops, and trade show sponsorships.
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and budgets simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an aptitude for translating complex technical concepts into compelling marketing messages.
- Located in the US with the ability to travel for events as needed.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Nice-to-Have:
- Direct experience marketing cloud services (AWS, GCP), professional services, managed services, AI, and/or security technologies and solutions
- Experience using graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for social media and event assets.
- Familiarity with video creation and editing for social media.
- Experience with partner co-marketing programs and activities.
- Background in public relations or corporate communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
