About the opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Legal Counsel to join our team. In this role, the successful candidate will play a vital part in supporting our business objectives by providing strategic legal advice and counsel across a wide range of areas.

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will work closely with various departments, including commercial, operations, exploration, human resources, native title and heritage, company secretarial and management, to ensure that we operate in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

What do I need?

2 - 6 years PAE, preferably with exposure to the mining or resources sector.
Bachelor of Laws
Admitted as a Legal Practitioner with current unrestricted legal practising certificate in Western Australia
Sound understanding of the principles of commercial, contract, and corporations law, preferably with some exposure to mining law.
Excellent research, writing, drafting and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
