About the Role

Hastings Deering is looking for a Parts Interpreter to join our Darwin Branch. This is a Permanent, Full-time, Monday to Friday role.

As a Parts Interpreter you will:

• Provide a high-level service to customers to efficiently manage their parts queries, requests and quotes
• Utilise your analytical ability to review CAT resourcing for confirmation of correct part numbers to complete orders
• Manage an efficient phone service, answering all calls and providing a professional and effective customer experience
• Perform administrative and cash management practices including receipting of cash, cheque and credit card payments
• Provide timely responses to customer order status requests, ensuring lead times are effectively communicated
• Identify opportunities to -up-sell parts consumables including fluids, tools, accessories, & novelties

About You

A successful teammate will have the following:

• Knowledge of CAT and associated products, parts and services is desirable
• Forklift Licence desirable
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
• Proven self-motivation skills with the ability to gain an understanding of the business systems that we operate
• High level of attention to detail
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Previous warehouse experience would be desirable
