Our international team, Application Operations, holds technical responsibility for the applications and systems integral to operating the entire German Radio Access Network (RAN) associated with Best Mobile. 
As an Application and System Manager, you will oversee designated IT applications or systems and provide support to business departments and key users on specific topics related to these applications/systems. Join Best Mobile and play an active role in shaping the future of mass data analysis systems. You will be responsible for the modernization, expansion, and enhancement of our trace system, which is crucial for analyzing issues and anomalies within the Radio Access Network.

Tasks description
 - Engage in the modernization of our network analysis system.
 - Assume responsibility for operations and troubleshooting in alignment with ITIL V3 standards, addressing incidents, problems, and changes.
 - Drive continuous development of the applications/system, including connecting new interfaces, implementing security requirements, introducing releases, and enhancing data completeness.
 - Identify and implement automation needs, such as automated data completeness analysis.
 - Work with and on systems deployed across virtualized, bare-metal, and cloud environments.
 - Lead the future introduction and operation of cloud solutions.
 - Hold operational and technical responsibility for applications.
 - Develop operationally relevant documentation and summaries.

Qualifications

Skill requerements
- You hold a university degree in telecommunications, business informatics, communications engineering, or a related field, or have completed vocational training paired with several years of professional experience in systems engineering. Additionally, you possess the following knowledge and skills:
 - Proficiency in application lifecycle management (LCM).
 - Experience in security-related areas, including PSA, patching, and vulnerability management.
 - Proven ability to collaborate with suppliers and international teams.
 - Competence in programming with Python, Shell scripts, and Ansible.
 - Experience in cloud environments, ideally with T-CaaS.
 - Preferably, experience in onboarding applications onto cloud platforms.
 - Extensive experience in the role of technical system manager.
 - Familiarity with Radio Access Network (RAN) fundamentals is desirable.
 - Willingness to actively support agile organizational structures and processes
 - Strong English language skills.
 - Availability for weekend calls.
