The Commercial Relationship Manager will own a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise clients, driving retention, expansion, and long-term value. You will act as a strategic partner—understanding client objectives, shaping solutions with cross-functional teams, negotiating renewals, and identifying upsell opportunities. Success in this role looks like trusted relationships, predictable pipeline, and clear impact on revenue.
Responsibilities
Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts; lead quarterly business reviews and roadmap planning.
Develop account plans that align client goals with Hype Tier solutions, delivering measurable outcomes and ROI.
Manage renewals end-to-end; forecast health, mitigate risk, and execute retention strategies.
Identify and close expansion opportunities (cross-sell/upsell) in partnership with Sales.
Coordinate with Delivery, Product, and Analytics to scope initiatives, resolve issues, and ensure on-time execution.
Track account performance, report insights, and maintain accurate CRM hygiene and forecasting.
Draft proposals, MSAs/SOWs, pricing updates, and negotiation materials.
Escalate blockers promptly and drive post-mortems and continuous improvement actions.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5+ years in Account Management, Customer Success, or Commercial/BD roles managing B2B clients.
Proven record of renewal management and revenue expansion against targets.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable interpreting data, building reports, and communicating insights.
Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot), spreadsheets, and slide development.
Excellent written and verbal communication; executive-level presence.
Nice to have: experience with marketing/advertising, SaaS, or professional services; familiarity with basic contract terms (MSA/SOW).
