Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation between physical and system records.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor inventory data for trends in shrinkage, damage, misplacement, and mislabeling.
- Maintain and improve inventory quality assurance procedures to ensure consistent compliance.
- Collaborate with warehouse, operations, and quality teams to resolve inventory issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, FDA, SOX).
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory accuracy, product condition, and inventory KPIs.
- Support system updates and testing related to inventory processes in ERP or WMS platforms.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance inventory control and accuracy.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, quality assurance, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Experience with inventory management systems (ERP/WMS), such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Manhattan.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, formulas).
- Familiarity with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
