Job Overview:
Day to day, this position is responsible for strategic planning and operational oversight of the Inpatient Coding and Clinical Documentation Improvement Departments. The Coding a Clinical Documentation Manager provides leadership, guidance, and supervision to the staff by providing a positive and team oriented environment. This position is responsible for working with all members of the healthcare team across the inpatient Deaconess Health System facilities and HRS Revenue Cycle to ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation and medical coding.
Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:
- Inpatient Medical Coding Certification and/or Bachelor's in Nursing
- Two to five years supervisory/leadership experience
- Corresponding certification or active license to practice is required
Preferred Certification/License/Experience:
- Experience within an acute care setting
- Other Key Words: Nursing Leadership // Supervisor
