Job Description
The role holder is responsible for actively participating in all aspects of transaction execution in areas of Asset and Export Finances in within an Investment Banking Group (IBG) typically plays a key role in structuring and executing financing solutions for client's strategy. The role holder is also responsible for collaborating with other Client Service and Product teams to ensure superior service for the clients.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Core Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential asset and export finance opportunities.
- Develop and structure complex financing solutions for a variety of assets including aircraft, ships, infrastructure, and industrial equipment.
- Work closely with clients to understand their financing needs and tailor solutions to meet those needs.
- Lead the execution of financing transactions, including due diligence, credit analysis, and preparation of credit proposals.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, counterparties, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal and external legal, compliance, and operational teams to ensure smooth execution of deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business and financial objectives.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Provide ongoing support and advice to clients on financing strategies and market conditions.
- Monitor market trends and developments in asset and export finance.
- Analyze the impact of economic, regulatory, and market changes on clients and the bank's portfolio.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the asset and export finance business.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
- Collaborate with other teams within the bank, including risk management, treasury, and product specialists.
- Ensure all transactions comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and manage risks associated with financing transactions.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Extensive experience in asset and export finance within an investment banking or financial services environment.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead deal teams.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics, regulatory issues, and industry trends in asset and export finance.
