We assist and deliver strategic solutions to assist our clients across the full ambit of human capital workforce transformation and remuneration disciplines. Main Purpose of Job

We are looking for a proactive and thoughtful Remuneration Consultant to join our dynamic and impact-driven team. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, governance and people.

You will partner closely with clients to design, refine and implement total reward solutions that align with business priorities and drive long-term value.

Key Performance Areas:

Reward Advisory

  • Support the development and execution of client reward strategies, including base pay, incentive structures, benchmarking and governance alignment.
  • Conduct market data analyses, interpret trends, and provide guidance on executive and broad-based remuneration design.
  • Contribute to the development of Board packs and Remuneration Committee reports and research papers aligned to King IV and JSE listed requirements.
  • Support the evolution of ESG-aligned reward strategies, integrating sustainability, inclusion and performance metrics

Sourcing of research content

  • Sourcing of Primary and Secondary Content
  • Source or receive remuneration and company data from client submissions, directors’ disclosures / other company reports and third-party databases.
  • Update internal databases and systems with sourced data
  • Design of Research Templates and Tools
  • Contribute to the set-up of new templates and streamline existing templates to for ease of use and efficiency in maintaining data.

Firm Contribution

  • Support the team in establishing and contributing to improved ways of working and servicing clients.
  • Contribute to the identification of new avenues for analysis and the publication of insights relating to general staff, Executive and Non-executive Director reward and wellbeing.
  • Actively contribute to system developments linked the salary survey by user testing.
  • Participate in the process of testing survey system products.

Experience 

  • 3 - 5 years as Rewards/Compensation and Benefits Practitioner

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Human Resources or similar
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills (experience with data visualisation tools will be advantageous)
  • Studying towards a formal Reward certification

Desired Qualifications

  • Post-graduate degree in Finance, Analytics or similar
  • Certified as a GRP, CCP or similar
  • Professional registration with SARA or similar
