Job Description:
Supports the Director of Academic Personnel & Policy with the maintenance of LSU's Faculty Information System, Elements. Helps test software upgrades and processes, runs reports to track activity, and creates training materials. Assists the Director on academic personnel matters, including appointments, payroll, sabbatical approval, and annual reviews.
Coordinates technical configurations of LSU’s Faculty Information System to ensure data integrity and optimal business process workflow. Serves as analyst for troubleshooting and collaborates with the Director of Academic Personnel & Policy to resolve issues. Develops and maintains training materials for audiences across the university. (35%)
Assists the Director on academic personnel matters of Workday items, including faculty appointments, reappointments, extensions of the tenure clock, and payroll. (25%)
Monitors faculty annual reviews in Elements. Runs reports to track completion and provides colleges with data on outstanding reviews. (10%)
Assists with sabbatical award notification letters. Responsible for maintaining records of sabbatical agreements and loading the corresponding leave actions. Monitors the completion of sabbatical reports in Elements. (10%)
Reviews all honorific appointment and award transactions to prepare for Senior Vice Provost review. (10%)
Other duties as assigned. (10%)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and experience with faculty information systems, Workday, and/or databases used for employment management.
Some experience in a professional setting.

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree with 5 years of experience
Experience in Human Resources in an academic setting
