Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer within our Digital Enablement organization, your role will be pivotal in the design and implementation of our platform for consumer-facing digital products to facilitate digital payments via mobile and web applications.
In this role, you will be a part of a diverse and collaborative team that is not only the driving force behind our business but also instrumental in the success of our clients. Key Responsibilities
• Plan, design, implement and support applications for consumer-facing mobile and digital products. Activities include business requirements and technique document analysis, development, unit testing, integration testing and production support.
• Work in a dynamic environment as a member of Agile Scrum teams and be dedicated to delivering production features.
• Partner with internal and external teams to facilitate successful product integration and releases.
• Conduct code review and mentor junior engineers.
• Work with other team members to define and enforce engineering best practices.
• Be flexible to accommodate cross-region team development/collaboration and address urgent production issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development process
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications
- •2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
- •2 years of relevant work experience in Java and web services development with a bachelor’s degree or an Advanced Degree
- •Strong foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design
- •Proficiency in one or more programming language such as Java, Python or JavaScript
- •Experience with web services standards and related technologies (Spring Boot, JAX-RS, Apache CXF etc.)
- •Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns
- •Solid knowledge of relational database (Oracle, MySQL) and SQL
- •Strong dedication to code quality and test-driven development
- •Experience with unit testing framework such as TestNG
- •Experience with version control tools such as Bitbucket or GitHub
- Preferred Qualifications
- •3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- •Proven problem-solving skills and an ability to respond resourcefully to new demands, priorities and challenges
- •Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills along with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills
- •Proficiency with Agile Development Techniques
- •Ability and desire to learn new skills and take on new initiatives
- •Experience using GENAI to drive innovation and improve efficiency
- •Experience with Splunk is a plus
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 105,800.00 to 149,550.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
