As a System Study and Control Performance Specialist Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming the North American grid with cutting-edge FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission Systems) technology. This is your chance to join a global leader in grid integration, where innovation meets impact.
Based in our Raleigh, NC Center of Competence, you’ll work with a passionate team dedicated to enhancing grid reliability, stability, and capacity—without the environmental footprint of traditional infrastructure. This isn’t just a job—it’s a mission. You’ll collaborate across continents, engage with customers, and contribute to projects that matter. Whether you're decoding wide-area disturbances or fine-tuning advanced control systems, your work will directly influence the future of energy.
How you’ll make an impact

Collaborate with global teams, including R&D and engineering hubs
Mentor team members and contribute to technical leadership
Continuously improve study methodologies and control strategies
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Your Background

10+ years of experience in power systems analysis
5+ years of experience with power electronics controllers
Proficiency in simulation tools such as PSCAD, RTDS, or PSSE
