Job Description:

Join BW Papersystems (formerly MarquipWardUnited), a global leader in industrial manufacturing solutions, as a Capital Equipment Sales Executive focused on selling high-performance finishing equipment to customers in the corrugated box industry. These are high-impact, field-based sales role responsible for managing a defined U.S. territory with a focus on strategic growth, consultative selling, and strong customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the sales process for finishing equipment within your assigned region, from prospecting to close

  • Identify new opportunities and develop strong pipelines by leveraging your network, industry knowledge, and on-the-ground outreach

  • Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers across customer organizations—plant managers to executives

  • Develop tailored presentations that showcase the value of our equipment solutions, and confidently lead contract negotiations

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and technical liaison throughout the sales cycle, including pre- and post-installation support

  • Collaborate closely with field service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any installation or performance issues

  • Stay ahead of market trends, monitor competitor activity, and influence industry direction through ongoing engagement with key stakeholders

What You Bring:

  • A hunter mindset with a passion for capital equipment sales and solving real-world manufacturing challenges

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas in a technical, B2B sales environment

  • Strong project management, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Confidence in presenting to and influencing executives and plant-level decision makers

  • A technical aptitude—you understand how complex machinery works and can translate technical specs into customer value

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in capital equipment sales, preferably in the industrial, packaging, or corrugated sectors

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM and technical sales tools familiarity is a plus

Additional Details:

  • Travel: Extensive domestic travel to customer sites and industry events

  • Work Environment: Regular exposure to manufacturing facilities—must be comfortable in industrial settings and compliant with all PPE requirements

  • Schedule: Full-time; flexibility required to support business needs across time zones

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a strong base salary and a performance-based commission structure. The approximate pay range for this position is $100K - $130K Base Salary + Competitive commission structure which may vary based on performance. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
