Pay: $24.90/hour

$2.00 shift differential

Job Description: 

This position is responsible for operating the cook line, adjusting forming machine to meet customer specs, adjusting oven and fryer temperatures, understand the use of nitrogen in the blending process, understanding of how to read a spec sheet, while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operating the cook line, including keeping the line supplied with meat and keeping the area clean.  
• Performs quality and process control checks, such as raw weights, coating pickups, and foreign material prevention checks.
• Makes machine adjustments as necessary to maintain product specifications.
• Documents result into a computer or on paper logs.
• Provides break relief for general labor and machine operator positions on the line.

Requirements:

·Basic math skills and computer skills. 

·Able to use simple measuring instruments, such as gauges, scales, and thermometers.  

·Able to read and write and understand production schedules, product specifications, ingredient labels.

·Able to work in cold – 40 to 45 degrees, wet conditions.

·Able to work under minimum supervision.

·Must be willing to lift 50 lbs.

·Able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift and be able to bend and reach as needed.

·Willing and able to work weekends, if needed.

·All other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Rehire Criteria:

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days. 

Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
