Qualifications, Duties, and Perks

An Average Day: 
(Includes, but not limited to)

  • Coordinate with hospice locations to ensure timely and accurate HIS data submissions
  • Assist with organizing and aggregating quality improvement data across multiple locations
  • Support and monitor agency HIS activities to meet regulatory timelines
  • Compile reports in areas such as patient care, risk management, infection control, and satisfaction surveys
  • Maintain and distribute HIS databases in alignment with company policy
  • Collaborate with leadership and billing to identify trends and drive quality improvements
  • Support staff education efforts and training documentation as directed
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of data entry experience, preferably in a hospice or healthcare setting
  • Strong observation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and quality-focused
  • Effective problem-solving and basic math abilities
  • Comfortable working with data and timelines in a fast-paced environment
