Job Summary:
The Manager will support the Acrisure Global Event Management (GEM) Team under the Acrisure Communications department with a focus on internal and client-focused meetings & event responsibilities. To be successful in this role, the applicant must be able to successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects, meetings/events and tasks with minimal supervision and react with the appropriate level of urgency to projects or tasks. Key to the position is to be a self-starter, ability to consistently prioritize to meet deadlines and be extremely focused to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Event management:
- Ability to holistically and independently manage simple to complex event logistics
- Budget oversight (preliminary, working and final) and T&E management by meeting/event
- Ability to prioritize, plan and self-manage multiple events concurrently
- Coordinate team activities (staff meetings, all-hands meetings, and social events)
- RFP and vendor management
- Post-event and ROI analysis
- Event collateral, supply & giveaway inventory, and shipment management
- Invoice and contract management
- Mailbox, calendar, and SharePoint organization
- Assist Sr. Event Director with:
- Event tracking dashboard tool input
- Event survey tool
- Invitation list management (RSVP tracking)
- Event collateral management
- Event shipment management
- Event supply inventory management
- Execute events as part of a team
- Lead and/or support event lifecycle as assigned:
- Invitation and attendee list management
- Communication development and review process (save-the-date, invitation, website etc.)
- Venue research and Request for Proposal (RFP) process
- Event collateral
- Onsite execution
- Make decisions during events without supervision
- Allocate expenses appropriately
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Supervise and mentor the team, fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence and continuous learning
- Identify skill gaps and provide ongoing training and development to ensure team readiness and performance
- Manage vendor relationships
- Communicate effectively with event stakeholders (including senior level executives) as well as multiple cross-functional team members
- Additional M&E duties as assigned
- 30% travel expectation, estimated.
Requirements

- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience preferred in Monday.com, Swoogo, Cvent, Concur, Workday, Hubspot.
Education and Experience:
- BA or BS degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years executing the full lifecycle of corporate meeting & event planning
- CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) preferred
- Proven experience managing teams and developing staff in a fast-paced environment
Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
