Job Description: Treasury Analyst
How does this role contribute to our collective success?
The role of the Treasury Analyst is to assist with the production of quality, timely, financial analysis and cash management for the AXIS Capital group of companies. Assist Group Treasury team with ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of Treasury processes, quarterly reporting and ongoing project initiatives within Treasury.
What will you do in this role?
Assist with daily short-term cash positioning and forecasting for all entities within the group
Support and assist with Group Treasury FX Management and trade execution
Support FX and trust collateral management for Treasury
Work with key banking partners on day-to-day Treasury management and on projects
Assist with Group Treasury projects on liquidity, banking, system enhancements
Assist with quarterly and ad-hoc management reporting to various legal entity Boards and to group level Finance Committee including Solvency II reporting
Assist with Treasury banking static data maintenance and internal audit queries
Assist with Reinsurance Committee Analysis
You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.
About You:
Highly motivated and innovative with strong sense of accountability and work ethic
First class verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders at varying seniority levels
Thorough attention to detail and comfortable working with large and varied data sources
Able to self-start own tasks and to independently lead small projects as well as working within a team
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple activities with competing deadlines
Able to make decisions when faced with ambiguity and changing priorities
What you need to have:
Undergraduate degree with a finance concentration What we prefer you to have:
Relevant work experience within Treasury highly beneficial
