POWER BI DEVELOPER
Employment Term: Permanent Full Time
Location: Hybrid Brisbane or Toowoomba
Remuneration: $100,000 - $110,000 pa (Dependant on experience) + 12% Super + Not For Profit Salary Packaging
Reporting to the Reporting and Performance Lead the Power BI Analyst will lead the development of reporting solutions that address both immediate business needs and lay the foundation for long-term performance measurement.
You will be accountable for operationalising performance reporting processes across Blue Care’s Community Services, covering both financial and non-financial outcomes, including operational, quality, customer, and workforce metrics. You will also be responsible for analysing service performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and delivering practical, data-driven recommendations to enhance outcomes.
About the Role
- Delivery of timely, accurate and appropriate business performance reporting solutions to enable strategic level decision making whilst managing security to data at all times
- Proactively lead and implement solutions to address data quality/integrity using the tool suites available or being implemented
- Proactively lead and develop user requirements, functional specifications with associated timeline commitments to appropriately manage stakeholder expectations
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and execute in a high-pressure environment
- Contribute to the maximisation of synergies across BlueCare as a single integrated organisation to improve outcomes for our customers
- Actively lead in requirements gathering participate with various stakeholders and implement agreed plans
- Actively participate in the design, redesign or development of data solutions to support Business Intelligence solutions
- Design, code, test and document new or modifications to reports
Role Requirements
- Experience in data interrogation, business analysis and report writing/creation, business / process improvements
- Enterprise Architecture frameworks and the use of Informatica and data lake/data warehouses
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving experience considering the holistic organisational impacts
- Demonstrated skills in Power BI, data gateways and design solutions
- Has experience or has lead data model development or business process modelling
- Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles and practices
- Experience with formal systems development and testing methods
