Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing Development Engineering functions but is not a match to the Top Development Engineering - Corporate role or any of the Information Technology function Head roles. May be responsible for overseeing the technology development engineering function in a sub-part of the overall organization (other than a Group, Region, Division, Country), a part of the organization’s product development/engineering functions, such as hardware, software, systems, telecommunications, or product design and engineering, or is one of several executives responsible for oversight of the function at the Corporate level. Responsibilities include overseeing the creation, development, and design of the organization’s products, engineering services, and may include the research function. If incumbent is responsible for development engineering for a business unit, match to Top Development Engineering - Business Unit.
