Mechanic Electrician

We are looking for highly skilled Electricians to join our Charlotte team!!

Job Summary:

The Mechanic Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems and equipment. This role combines the skills of an electrician and a mechanic, ensuring machinery and systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Operate various hand and power tools to perform job duties.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and procedures.
• Test electrical systems and continuity using testing devices like multimeters.
• Maintain logs of maintenance and repair work performed.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to improve equipment performance.
• Listen, follow directions, and complete assigned work

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or certification in electrical or mechanical systems preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a mechanic electrician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems (e.g., 3-phase motors, control circuits).
• Familiarity with mechanical systems such as hydraulics, pneumatics, and gear systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures.
