As Revecore’s Payroll Manager, you will:
Be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing for a multi-state workforce. This role is a critical part of our Finance and People operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll execution.
The Role:
- Own the full-cycle payroll process for bi-weekly payroll across multiple states, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Administer all payroll functions including earnings, taxes, deductions, bonuses, and garnishments.
- Partner with People and Finance teams to ensure accuracy of employee data and payroll-related entries.
- Maintain and update payroll records and documentation in accordance with company policies and audit requirements.
- Reconcile payroll data with general ledger, benefit contributions, and tax filings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries from employees, internal teams, and external auditors.
- Stay current on evolving wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and payroll best practices.
- Lead year-end activities including W-2 preparation, audits, and compliance reporting.
- Manage relationships with payroll vendors and third-party service providers.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
You’ll be successful if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in payroll administration, with at least 2 years managing payroll independently.
- Experience processing payroll for large, multi-state employee populations (1,000+ employees preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.
- Proficiency with payroll and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Workday, UltiPro).
- Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail in data management and reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification a plus

- The workspace area accommodates all workstation equipment and related materials and provides adequate surface area to be productive.
