This position is part of the Enterprise Data & Reporting (EDR) organization, which includes leadership for the AI Center of Excellence (COE) for Bell Bank. The role involves conducting front-end analysis of AI related Use Cases and their respective software tools and ensuring data details are well documented. The individual will collaborate with the EDR, IT and Line of Business (LOB) teams (as applicable) to document the applications used at Bell Bank and their roadmaps concerning AI capabilities. It also includes coordinating, analyzing, and documenting various EDR sponsored initiatives, needs, and components, such as reference data and metadata.  Additionally, this position requires the ability to work with minimal supervision to support existing EDR capabilities, including reports and dashboards, for internal report writers and consumers of data.

 

Primary Duties:

  • Collaborate with various LOBs to develop AI use cases.
  • Maintain a comprehensive and consolidated list of all AI use cases across the business units, including any related documentation as part of the AI COE.
  • Coordinate product assessments and evaluations for pertinent AI use cases.
  • Document all data requirements and conduct gap analysis with the currently available data for the AI use cases.
  • Assist in documenting the AI roadmaps for existing third-party systems utilized at Bell Bank.
  • Gain an understanding of AI Policy, ensuring activities comply with requirements and escalating any instances of non-compliance, as necessary.
  • Contribute to the improvement of overall documentation for the data and reporting ecosystem, including the metadata repository.
  • Support testing of various components within the data and reporting ecosystem as needed.
  • Ensure policies and procedures related to AI and the Data & Reporting Ecosystem are maintained.
  • Know by name and face as many customers and employees as possible, calling them by name as often as possible.

  • Conduct activities consistent with established Bell Bank policies, procedures and systems, the Bell Bank Employee Conduct policies, the Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Skills Required:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or related education.
  • Demonstrated success in Business Analyst position or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years of working on and supporting Data & Reporting Ecosystem Projects with some exposure to AI landscape
  • Well versed in a wide variety of tools and technologies to be able to assess capabilities and functionality of AI vendor offerings
  • Ability to create flow charts or diagrams describing business processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to efficiently lead process review
  • Knowledge in and/or experience in project management methodologies.
  • Experience in software-related technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Cognos, and Power BI
  • Ability to self-motivate with high attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational, research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
