ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking to hire an engineer to work with LSEG (LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE GROUP) Azure data platform. As a Software Engineer in the team, you will deliver highly scalable services and outstanding product experiences. Work on multiple layers of the technology stack, ranging from ci/cd gitlab pipelines, terraform, Azure services, working with database/onelake, and everything in between.
WORKSTYLE MODEL
We know balance is the key, therefore we propose hybrid way of working. You are welcome to work from our brand-new office every day, but you have still an opportunity to stay at home if needed. In this position you can work 4 days a week from home.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Collaborate with team members and other engineering groups in Microsoft and LSEG to build full stack web applications and services using the latest web technologies in a sophisticated and agile environment.
- Close engagement with the architecture teams to ensure product capabilities are crafted in line with the strategic end-state architecture.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Technical/ job functional knowledge
- Strong experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker
- Strong experience with Azure, building secure infrastructure
- Proven experience with Web Apps
- Proven experience of 5yrs in a high-scale production system
- Typescript & Python knowledge is an advantage
- Development experience with VSCode, devcontainers and Microsoft Azure
- Understanding and experience with API development and integration
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code (including CI/CD pipelines for the code and services)
Leadership & teamwork experience
- Experience in mentoring and provide technical leadership for web application development.
- Experience in design, coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and collaboration capabilities.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and tackle sophisticated problems.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers
