RBA’s Future Hub organisational change transformation program seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Program Coordinator to support the delivery of strategic initiatives across our organisation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving problems logically, and is comfortable engaging with stakeholders of all levels.
As a Program Coordinator in the Future Hub, you will support the Future Hub program manager with the delivery and execution of the RBA’s cultural transformation ambitions. You’ll play a key role in ensuring project activities run smoothly and efficiently, supporting both the operational and strategic aspects of the program.
This position sits within a team that operates with an Agile mindset and works predominantly with highly specialised subject matter experts. The program coordinator role will be a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in project delivery while gaining exposure to transformation and organisational change within a central bank.
Key Responsibilities
Program Delivery
Schedule and coordinate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagements
Liaise with internal departments to gather information and maintain alignment
Draft clear and professional communications to internal customers
Support meetings by capturing minutes, tracking actions, sending reminders, and following up
Manage and maintain program documentation and artefacts
Administer key program tools including RAID registers, program roadmaps, and schedules
Assist in prioritising tasks and managing competing demands from multiple sources
Assisting in communicating change requirements into the business in conjunction with the RBA’s overall change strategy
Risk Management and Issue Resolution
Support program to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Proactively address challenges and resolve issues to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
Continuous Improvement:
Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the Stream, encouraging feedback and implementing lessons learned to enhance future projects
Demonstrate ‘open and dynamic’ behaviours in line with the RBA’s culture.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Understanding of project delivery contexts
Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to adapt and flex and deal with ambiguity.
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
Experience working in a project environment or similar delivery-focused role
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think critically and logically through problems
Comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from others
Previous experience within government departments or government agencies
Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Project management experience will be highly regarded
Understanding of change management and embedment needed to shift behaviours
Interest in or exposure to culture transformation initiatives
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Communications or Project Management
