Job Responsibilities

The position will provide procurement support to functional departments including:
• Lead a team of Procurement Officers and be the primary point of contact for pertinent business units.
• Provide advice on FFE procurement matters to the users and develop procurement strategies and bidding projects that are timely, inventive, and cost-effective as the standards of Design Excellence.
• Review, assess and provide feedback to Interiors for FFE specifications for all development projects
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors while securing advantageous terms.
• Identify opportunities and implement actions to reduce overall costs.
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders and team of buyers to ensure compliance with procurement policy and relevant guidelines and regulations.
• Support business users in strategic data requests, reports, and analytics.
• Contribute to the design development process by providing research, costing, schedule planning and/or vendor recommendations to Interiors
• Support all vendor registration and compliance requirements for supply chain
• Perform comprehensive bid analysis to ensure best-in-class sourcing, pricing and cost savings based on total cost of ownership
• Negotiate final pricing and terms with selected manufacturers
• Communication with supply chain that professionally and accurately clarifies any errors or omissions in the project documents or supply chain quotations
• Oversee creation of Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders based on aligned procurement strategy among project stakeholders
• Project manage assigned FF&E projects so that realistic timelines and costs are communicated, milestones are met and project status is regularly communicated
• Represent department and contribute to weekly interface with Interiors and Construction in scheduled OAC meetings and ID coordination meetings
• Management of project tracking and reporting documents
• Manage and resolve submittal approvals for custom FFT between the Design Team and the Vendor
• Ongoing communication with suppliers to expedite manufacturing and production of all FFE within project schedules that meets or exceeds quality standards, including factory visits
• Coordinate and direct domestic and international logistics for FFE shipments insuring safe and economically efficient packaging and shipment
• Executive resolution for any warranty or damage claims
• Executive and management of FFE installation
• Oversight of project specialist positions for assigned projects
• Safety is an essential function of this job
• Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Director or VP Perform other related duties as required.

Job Requirements Education & Certification • Minimum a Degree in Business or Procurement Related field or Project Management. Experience • Minimum 8-10 years of working experience in relevant industry. Competencies • Meticulous, attention to details, analytical and lateral thinking with strong desire to learn and contribute. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all aspects of the business. • Proficiency in computer applications - MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Ability to perform complex analysis for supplier and material contracts, develop long range commodity plans, streamline operational procedures, perform continuous improvement activities, and present project reports to reporting manager. Knowledge of financial and cost management, contract management, and spreadsheet analysis. Skills with Microsoft Office suite and spreadsheets are essential. Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment. • Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English; both in oral and written form, interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts, • Maintain proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with management, team members, and suppliers while working under pressure and meeting deadlines. • Excellent interpersonal skills, especially ability to listen and comprehend high volume of information. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers and business partners. • Quick Learner of the process and execution of the activities. In addition to the ability to work with minimal supervision and ability to multi-task. • Ariba/SAP Platform experience is an added advantage.
