An opportunity has arisen for a Secretary to join our Team in Barnoldswick.

In this role you will provide professional and complex administrative services to a team.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will co-ordinate the new starter induction process and all mandated training, as well as:

  • Produce documentation including typing letters, creating presentations and preparing highlights reports, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement activities, by identifying areas for process and system improvement and implementing.
  • Represent the team in meetings, and report key information back to the team.
  • Undertake activities in support of projects in own area, including maintaining key project documents, setting meetings and reporting to manager on progress against key goals.
  • Update and maintain operating procedures, and key process documentation for processes in own area.
  • Potentially take the lead on specific, well defined work streams ensuring agreed deliverables are met.

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:

Previous experience in an administrative role.

  • Excellent attention to detail, to produce accurate work in a timely manner.
  • Ability to operate calmly under pressure and establish own work priorities to deliver against deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise judgement and act on own initiative.
  • High degree of computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fast and accurate typing.

The professional level and salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate but is anticipated to be SNBG 5.
