Your New Role:

Drive an Automation led approach for system, SIT and unit testing across NAB, and contribute to platform integration and performance tests

Implement & monitor quality metrics including trend analysis of discrepancies and defects; drive investigations into problems and correction actions relating to recurring problems

Write software user stories that reflect the requirements of the individual software components to allow all stakeholders to reach agreement on the flows that allow the implementation of desired functionality.

Write infrastructure user stories that reflect the requirements of the designed infrastructure to allow all stakeholders to reach agreement.

Provide estimations of the effort required to implement the software user stories and infrastructure user stories

Validate that the software components that implement the software user stories and the infrastructure user stories

Develop test automation scripts to validate the acceptance criteria contained in the user stories

Participate in Platform code reviews with Developers.

Validate the scripts that deploy the software components onto the infrastructure

Deploy the software components, infrastructure and scripts to various environments

Proactively address issues discovered in the software components, infrastructure and scripts in the various environments

Ensure that quality procedures defined for the position within the service are followed.

Ensure that the SDLC procedures defined for the position within the service are followed.

Ensure that an automation first approach is followed

Participate in production releases

Own, manage and demonstrate uplift from PIRs for continuous improvement on the release process

Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures pertinent to role and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified.

Innovate and embed Quality Engineering practices

Promote shared goals of creating high quality software

What you will Bring:

Strong coding in JAVA or Javascript. Experience with any node based test automation like webdriver.io/ playwright or Selenium with Java. Experience in API testing using RestAssured with strong understanding of JSON.

Experience in Agile Methodology and Test Management tools and techniques

Good to have knowledge in Cloud Based technologies with experience with CI/CD and tooling (AWS, Azure, Jenkins)

QUALIFICATIONS

Software/Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Programming or related tertiary qualification is advantageous.
