Base Salary $103,185 - $105,865 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
As the Co-curricular Programs Coordinator (Residential Life), you will play a key role in enhancing the student experience by supporting the design and delivery of engaging co-curricular programs for students living in University accommodation.
Working closely with teams across the Student Life Cluster and stakeholders in residential settings, this role will help deliver student-led initiatives that foster community, wellbeing, and connection. You'll collaborate with colleagues across wellbeing, safety, and student engagement to ensure programs are inclusive, relevant and impactful.
This position is based primarily at the Camperdown campus, with occasional travel to University-owned accommodation sites, including the Camden campus, so a full unrestricted driver’s licence is required.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Work in a collaborative and cohesive team environment reporting to the Senior Residential Life Coordinator
coordinate co-curricular programs tailored for students in accommodation and aligned with University-wide student engagement strategies
co-design initiatives with students and stakeholders using project management tools and inclusive practices
develop communications and content to promote programs through digital platforms and social media
liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to support program delivery and engagement
support triage and referral processes in partnership with the Safety and Wellbeing team
deliver training, events and student-facing sessions
analyse and report on program outcomes and student engagement insights
About you
experience in co-curricular program delivery, wellbeing promotion or student support services
strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
experience working with diverse cohort student groups
confident communicator with experience using social media and digital platforms to engage students
ability to handle sensitive student issues with discretion, empathy and sound judgment
valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) or ability to obtain one
full unrestricted driver’s licence.
