Job Title: Consultant - Azure Cloud and FinOps

Key Responsibilities:

Azure Administration:

• Manage and maintain Azure environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Implement, configure, and troubleshoot Azure services including Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Networking, and Identity management.
• Monitor Azure infrastructure, responding to incidents, and performing root cause analysis.
• Automate routine tasks, deployments, and configurations using Azure Automation and scripts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for cloud governance.

FinOps Tools and Cloud Cost Management:

• Utilize FinOps tools to analyze cloud spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocations.
• Collaborate with finance and IT teams to develop budgets and forecasts for Azure costs.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights on cloud costs and usage.
• Educate stakeholders on FinOps principles to drive cost-conscious decision-making.
• Assist in defining policies and strategies for cost management and resource optimization.

Consultation and Strategy Development:

• Advise clients and internal teams on best practices for Azure architecture and cost optimization.
• Develop strategic initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cloud operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between cloud strategy and business objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in Azure administration and cloud cost management.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services and features.
• Experience with FinOps tools and methodologies (e.g., CloudHealth, Apptio Cloudability, Nutanix Beam).
• Strong understanding of cloud financial management principles and practices.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or FinOps Certified Practitioner are highly desirable.
