KDN Advisory SAP Mfg - SCM (Manager)

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager – SAP Manufacturing to lead the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing solutions in enterprise transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise in SAP PP and related manufacturing modules, strong project delivery experience, and exposure to modern SAP technologies such as SAP DMC, SAP BTP, and RISE with SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP Manufacturing (PP) workstream in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, covering discrete, process, and repetitive manufacturing scenarios.
• Design and configure SAP PP components including Work Centers, Routings, BOMs, MRP, Production Orders, and Capacity Planning.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct FIT-GAP analysis, and prepare functional specifications.
• Ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, QM, PM, and EWM modules.
• Oversee testing cycles (SIT, UAT), data migration, cutover planning, and post-go-live support.
• Guide the development and deployment of WRICEF objects in collaboration with technical teams.
• Drive adoption of SAP Activate methodology and Fit-to-Standard approach.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and team members.
• Stay current with SAP Manufacturing innovations including SAP DMC, Predictive MRP, and embedded analytics.

 

Required Skills & Experience

• 10–12 years of SAP experience with at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations in the Manufacturing domain.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP configuration and manufacturing process design.
• Deep understanding of MRP, shop floor control, production execution, and capacity planning in S/4HANA.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Agile/Hybrid delivery models.
• Exposure to SAP BTP, SAP DMC, and Fiori apps is a plus.
• Cross-module integration experience with MM, SD, QM, PM, and EWM.

Certifications

• Required: SAP S/4HANA Production Planning Certification 
• Preferred: SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud Certification, Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2)

 

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field (B.Tech, MBA, etc.)
