Roles & responsibilities
The Risk and compliance professionals are responsible for monitoring the firm’s and its employees’ compliance with Independence, risk management and quality control policies, procedures and guidance. Furthermore, the group works with the wider Quality and Risk community and across the KPMG network to exchange knowledge and develop and improve processes and procedures in response to emerging regulatory, business and other requirements.
•Ensuring the Risk and Compliance monitoring activities are completed in accordance with the applicable regulations and existing procedures. •Developing a comprehensive understanding of applicable personal independence rules. •Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer on a weekly basis, confirming all processes are being completed in accordance with agreed timescales and escalating any issues in real time. •Monitoring group mailboxes and ensuring queries are dealt with in a timely manner. The responses to queries, resolving, and documenting more complex queries by conducting research and related precedents and consulting with the Chief Compliance Officer. •Ensure issues are timely and accurately identified and escalated. Takes responsibility for issue identification and participates in proposing solutions, alternatives or next course of action.Identifies or assists in process improvement and policy and procedure development opportunities.

Educational qualifications
•Company Secretary (CS) / Bachelor of Law (LLB)Work experience
4-6 years of experience with risk management role preferably in a big 4 or equivalent organizations
