The Ideal Candidate
- A background in Agriculture, Animal Science, or relevant industry experience
- Experience with livestock, preferably pigs but not essential.
- Experience with farm audits, assurance schemes, and compliance platforms
- Strong organisational skills, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, work to deadlines and clear communication
- Self-motivated, Confidence working with internal teams and external stakeholders
- A solid understanding of UK farming legislation, animal welfare requirements, and certification processes
- A strong focus on animal welfare and maintaining high standards.
- IT competent, including Microsoft Office.
- Clean UK driving licence.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the farm assurance and compliance programme across designated supply groups
- Plan and coordinate farm audits and support audit visits as required.
- Manage certification and compliance data systems (e.g., Authenticate, Foods Connected, EMB, M&S Select Farm portal)
- Maintain relationships with certification bodies, managing contracts and costs
- Collaborate across departments (Procurement, Technical, Breeding, Finishing, Commercial) to align assurance with business needs
- Support new farm certification and onboarding processes
- Provide farm visits, training, and coaching to promote compliance and welfare best practices
- Keep farm standards and policies up to date with evolving regulations and customer requirements
- Liaise with customers, vets, government bodies, and independent producers to ensure compliance throughout the supply chain
