  Elementary School Paraprofessionals: Elementary school paraprofessionals work with young children on foundational skills like reading and math, helping to manage classroom activities and providing one-on-one or small group support to ensure that each child gets the attention they need.   What DPS Offers You:

What You'll Do:

• Performs classroom duties as assigned, including but not limited to preparing instructional materials, assisting with student instruction, student care and discipline, and keeping the classroom clean and well-organized.
• Plans and evaluates program and student needs with the teacher daily and addresses specific student needs as identified by the teacher.
• Communicates with teachers and administrators about performance and disciplinary issues.
• Complies with program rules and regulations including State of Colorado licensing requirements for Child Care Centers.

• For ECE Para's Only: Copy of your high school diploma or GED AND must successfully complete ECE 101 within a designated period of time which will be determined after hire.
