About the Team
The Publisher Operations team sits within Content Operations and works with the top broadcasters, digital publishers, entertainment, sport and news organisations across the UK to drive content growth and scale on TikTok.
Overview of Role
The Publisher Manager will work with sports organisations and content businesses on TikTok to help them to use the platform most effectively and boost content supply. The role focuses on driving publisher growth on the platform by supporting them with their short video output as well as their strategic projects and initiatives that complement team goals and product priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner guidance - Supporting partners on content strategy and using the platform, serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of accounts across sport, lifestyle & education
- Supporting publishers with ad-hoc requests eg. Pulling data, content queries, liaising with tech support, verification
- Close collaboration within the publisher operations team and across many key teams at TikTok to meet deadlines and achieve goals
- Alignment between product team and partners for product rollouts / tests and collating feedback
- Support high-priority accounts during critical periods, such as HBR, ABR, and key tentpole moments
- Contribute local expertise to broader team initiatives, such as ad credit alignment, case study development, and cross-functional projects
