As an Integration Developer, you will contribute to creating comprehensive integration strategies, ensuring scalable, secure and efficient implementations are carried out, and in doing so building capability to manage system and application-level access to our shared ServiceNow Environment.

What are some of the responsibilities of this role?
Develop and Build Solutions: Design, implement, and test software solutions that align with business and technical requirements.
Improve Code Quality: Follow and help uphold quality standards through code reviews, documentation, and testing
Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with product, design and other engineers to refine requirements and deliver valuable features
Contribute to Documentation: Write and update technical documentation to support clarity, maintainability, and onboarding
Communicate technical concepts: Clearly and effectively communicate across cross-functional teams

What projects / mahi (work) will the candidate be working on now and into the next year?
Design, build and implement integrations between BNZs platforms and systems and ServiceNow
Contributing to BNZs Open Banking APIs through enabling the delivery and maintenance of our critical APIs.
Feed improvements into BNZs practices and standards where appropriate.

You will bring excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, .
You will also have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
What specific skills and experience would be beneficial for this role?
This is an opportunity for individuals skilled in API development, with a proven ability to contribute in a collaborative team environment. You will also bring:
Understanding RESTful API principals
Experience with the Springboot framework
Experience using API gateway and proxies (eg: Kong)
Proficient in at least one programming language eg: Java, Python etc.
Understanding of Kubernetes
Knowledge and use of Kafka
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or similar
Understanding and experience using cloud technologies (eg: AWS, Azure etc) would be beneficial
