Investor relations are absolutely critical to our success—fusion is a deep tech, long-term game that demands bold vision and significant, sustained capital. We are looking for someone who thrives in uncertainty, moves fast with confidence, and brings a founder-like mindset to building trust and alignment with the investment community. As Head of Investor Relations (IR), reporting to the CFO, you will play a key role in driving our mission forward by shaping how we tell our story, engage with new and existing investors, and secure the resources we need to scale.

Responsibilities

Strategy
- Build and execute a proactive investor relations strategy aligned with our financing needs and long-term vision.
- Stay on top of industry trends, investor sentiment and investment theses, as well as competitor positioning to help refine our strategy and narrative.

Internal Alignment
- Work closely with the CEO, CFO, and executive team to align messaging across financial and technical domains.
- Support strategic initiatives such as grants, board material, and partnerships requiring financial communication.
- Build a scalable IR function that grows with the company—from early-stage fundraising to future IPO-readiness.

External Communication
- Serve as the main interface between Renaissance Fusion and investors—owning communication, trust-building, and responsiveness.
- Develop and deliver compelling material for investors including pitch decks, updates, reports, and press releases.
- Clearly and authentically communicate our progress, risks, milestones, and strategic priorities to the financial community.
- Lead capital raising efforts: organize roadshows, guide due diligence, and manage relationships with VCs, institutional investors, and public funding bodies.

Education and professional experience

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related fields; MSc, MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus.
8+ years of experience in investor relations, venture capital, corporate finance, or related roles in high-growth or deep tech environments.

Languages

Fluent in English
Good level of French and/or Italian is a plus

Technical skills

Management of service providers
Strong knowledge on facility management and maintenance
Project management skills
Familiar with HSE regulations
Knowledge of Grenoble-based service suppliers is a plus
