Social Worker, MSW - Nursing Administration, Providence Holy Family Hospital, Spokane WA

 

The Social Worker (SW), under direct and continuous supervision by an LICSW, provides biopsychosocial assessment and treatment/interventions/advocacy of patients and their support systems through discharge planning. The Social Worker incorporates concepts and theories associated with life span development, neurobiology, and behavioral change. The Social Worker will collaborate with the patient and support systems to develop and implement evidence-informed person-centered care plans across the care continuum in collaboration with the Inter/Multi-Disciplinary Team (IDT). The Social Worker shall perform duties in a manner that respects patient self-determination that reduces health disparities/barriers to care and adheres to the NASW code of ethics and Standards of Practice (SOP).

Shift Details:

• Full time, 40 hours per week, 8 - hour day shift

 

Required Qualifications: 

• Master's Degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the CSWE (Council on Social Work Education), or enrolled in a Master’s program to graduate within two months of hire.
• Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Associate License within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of Hospital / Healthcare experience

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
