Role Overview

The Corporate Development Associate will be a critical partner to the Chief Development Officer and the Corporate Development team at Argano. This role provides high-level administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth execution of scheduling, travel arrangements, project management tasks, and expense reporting. Additionally, the Corporate Development Associate will play an integral role in managing priorities for a fast-paced M&A environment, including handling NDA negotiations and supporting communications across internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, and meeting logistics across multiple time zones.
  • Organize and facilitate travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.
  • Prepare and process expense reports for the Chief Development Officer and team members.

 

Project Management

  • Assist with tracking key M&A initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met, and follow-ups are completed.
  • Maintain organized documentation and workflows for NDAs, LOIs, and related legal agreements.
  • Support onboarding processes for new team members or third-party consultants.

 

Communication and Coordination

  • Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and professional communication.
  • Draft and format correspondence, presentations, and reports using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Coordinate with other executives and departments to align priorities and manage deliverables effectively.

 

Other / Ad-Hoc

  • Provide support for ad hoc projects and initiatives as required
  • Work collaboratively with the Corporate Development team to streamline operations and enhance efficiency

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience as an executive assistant, administrative assistant, or in a related role.
  • Experience in either Investment Banking or Private Equity is critical
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced environment; M&A or private equity experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • High proficiency in Outlook, Teams Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; experience with additional tools like DocuSign is a plus.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to anticipating needs and solving problems.
  • Comfortable working in a remote, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
