- 16.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Promoting the Department of Communication and its undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificate programs to prospective students via tabling events on campus and digital channels
- Assisting the creation and publication of the UND Communicator, the departmental newsletter sent out to alumni in every June and December.
- Administrative assistance as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have accepted a Federal Work Study Award for the relevant term
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn to explain the Department of Communication and its undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificate programs fluently
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- • Experience with social media accounts and how they operate: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Experience with Graphic Design, and programs like Canva, Adobe Create Suite, or Microsoft products.
