About the Role

As a Research Associate in Population Health, you will contribute to an NHMRC-funded research program under the guidance of the Chief Investigator and within a collaborative research team. Your work will involve the analysis of quantitative data, preparation of scholarly manuscripts, and support in the dissemination of research findings through high-quality publications and conference presentations. You will also play an active role in monitoring emerging research relevant to the program and assist in developing applications for external research funding.

About You

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • A PhD (or near completion) in Public Health or a related health discipline.

  • Strong skills in quantitative research and/or data science methods.

  • Ability to critically review and synthesise academic literature.

  • Awareness of current issues in healthcare, patient outcomes, and health policy.

  • Experience in mixed methods or qualitative research.
