Project Management Support

Location: NH Yokosuka & branch clinics Reports To: Facility Management Engineering Manager

Primary Accountabilities:

Keep ~$40 M annual construction, renovation, and equipment-installation workload on schedule, within budget, and compliant with patient-care constraints.

Please note: This position is currently part of a competitive bid process and is contingent upon the successful award of the contract.

Major Duties:

Develop scopes of work, validate cost estimates, and author independent government estimates (IGEs).
Lead technical reviews of A-E and contractor proposals; draft modification packages.
Liaise with NAVFAC Far East, USACE Japan, Public Works Dept., and clinical stakeholders.
Manage outages, ICRAs, AHAs, dig/excavation permits, and infection-control phasing.
Track TF-1 work orders and DMLSS/iNFADS project data; maintain weekly status dashboards.
Conduct site inspections, submittal reviews, and pay-app validations.
Chair recurring project-progress meetings; issue minutes and risk registers.

Requirements

Requirements:

High-school diploma (BS Eng./CM strongly preferred).
=5 years construction project management, incl. =2 years DoD healthcare.
AutoCAD literacy; demonstrated CMMS/CAFM experience (DMLSS/iNFADS).
OSHA 30-Hour (Construction or General Industry).

Preferred Qualifications

PMP or Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC).
Working knowledge of UFC, NFPA, AHA, and The Joint Commission standards.

Additional Requirements

Same citizenship/NACI/SOFA criteria as Position #1.
Local travel to other U.S. bases within a 2-hour drive.
