What you’ll do -

• Perform preventive maintenance per planned schedules. Inspect equipment, clean and lubricate machinery. Identify root causes of equipment problems.
• Troubleshoot and repair all standard mechanical and electrical components and detect minor equipment problems and correct them before they become major issues.
• Repair and replace worn or defective parts on mechanical and pneumatic equipment such as press brakes, drills, valves, pumps, etc.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and electromechanical systems, other control systems and install wiring systems for power and control.
• Must have a basic understanding and experience in all phases of 110–480-volt systems. 
• Assist in installing new equipment and understanding technical manuals, read blueprints and how to purchase replacement parts necessary to make equipment repairs.
• Maintains documentation according to procedures, assuring that all equipment documentation is up to date and accurate
• Use a ticketing system to update management on projects and equipment status.
• Contact vendors and open tickets for service request/parts, effectively communicate ticket status to Team for follow up during business hours.
• Work with and mentors Technician 1‘s
• Performs routine building and facility maintenance.

Qualifications That Move Us!

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment 
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an Electronics / Manufacturing / Engineering or Maintenance technology program preferred 
• Ability to work independently
• Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment
• Strong work ethic - must be a self-starter and willing to do what it takes to complete the task
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to multi-task and execute tasks with a high attention to detail
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic Computer knowledge such as Microsoft Office (especially Excel) preferred
