SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Engage in ongoing learning about grant/contract processes. Assist with grant and contract research and management. Assist with evaluation and monitoring agency compliance related to grants and contracts. Assist the Contract/Grant Director, Manager, Coordinators on the Grant Team with duties as requested. Assist Chief Development Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Vice Presidents with contract and grant related tasks and duties as assigned. Assist with writing grants and proposals and developing proposal budgets. Requires daily decision-making, analysis, problem solving, and ongoing corporate task prioritization.
Compensation: between $41,700 and $52,754 per year (salary is determined by total years of relevant experience)
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum of two years’ related experience.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word, possess knowledge and understanding of other Microsoft Office software.
- Valid Driver’s License/acceptable driving record
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- *Assists with ongoing analysis of grants and contracts to ensure agency programs are compliant with stated specifications and requirements.
- *Works with Contract and Grant staff to write grants and proposals, develop proposal budgets, and complete required progress and financial reports.
- *Works with Contract and Grant staff to monitor funding requirements of grants and contracts for monthly reporting and evaluation and assists with compliance and audit activities as necessary.
- *Assists Contract and Grant team in assuring that funding organizations received accurate and timely draws, invoices, or claims for program expenditures at required intervals.
- *Supports a system to ensure timely completion and receipt of required contract and grant reports, grant database updates, and required data entry.
- *Utilizes and assists with data entry and review in the Contract and Grant Database.
- *Assists Contract and Grant Team with grant opportunity research.
- *Is dependable and punctual regarding scheduling and attendance.
- *Supports a Trauma-Informed Care environment.
- Abides by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements.
- Cooperates and collaborates with program staff, volunteers, and other Agency staff.
- Displays a courteous and caring attitude at all times to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the Agency.
- *Creates, maintains, and shares as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan.
- *Strives to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible to contribute to the agency’s ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts.
- *Essential functions of this job to be performed on company physical work site unless otherwise agreed and documented.
- Performs other program related duties as assigned.
