Job Description

As a Senior Digital Transformation Leader, you’ll drive TAL’s digital agenda across customer communications and engagement platforms. This role is key to reimagining how we connect with our customers—transforming traditional channels into seamless digital experiences, modernising platforms, and embedding innovative, sustainable solutions that enhance engagement across the customer lifecycle. You’ll bring together strategic thinking, technical know-how, and delivery excellence to lead cross-functional teams through complex transformation, ensuring business continuity, regulatory compliance, and a stronger digital future for TAL.

In this role you will:

  • Lead TAL’s digital transformation strategy—developing a clear roadmap that accelerates customer adoption of digital channels and delivers measurable business outcomes.
  •  Transform customer communications—drive the shift from traditional correspondence to scalable, compliant, omnichannel digital solutions.
  • Modernise platforms in partnership with IT—integrate and optimise digital technologies like SmartComms, Content Hub, and marketing automation tools.
  • Deliver complex transformation initiatives—manage end-to-end project delivery using agile methodologies, ensuring outcomes are on time and within budget.
  • Inspire innovation and build capability—foster a culture of digital innovation, lead emerging tech exploration, and grow digital capability across teams.

Qualifications

  • Extensive digital leadership experience—leading large-scale digital transformation within financial services or insurance.
  • Expertise in digital platforms and CX design—strong knowledge of marketing automation, customer journey mapping, and content management systems.
  • Strategic and commercial mindset—proven ability to develop business cases, influence stakeholders, and translate vision into delivery.
  • Strong technical knowledge—well-versed in agile methodologies, data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance in digital communications.
  • Relevant qualifications—tertiary degree in Technology or Business, with certifications in digital transformation, technology leadership, or project management.
