Description

GCI is seeking a Senior-level SOO to act as a coordinator for highly technical project. The candidate in this position will serve as the central information coordinator, bridging communication gaps between departments and other organizations. Prior experience deconflicting project actions and scheduling regular meetings among a variety of stakeholders is required. The successful candidate will have prior experience gaining detailed understanding of cutting-edge technologies that are critical to the project.

Tasks:

• Manage research and analysis of cutting-edge technologies
• Serve as the central coordinator for stakeholders
• Schedule meetings with technical specialists and develop deep understanding of topics
• Prepare briefings and reports for leadership of varying technical experience
• Manage deconfliction among groups and divisions

Required Skills

• Prior experience as a SOO in a technical environment
• Background in project management
• Proactive, self-starter requiring minimal oversite
• Building partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Willingness to travel locally
• Experience with coordinating communications and understanding nuances of various interactions
