Job Description
What will you be doing?
We are looking for an Electronics Hardware Engineer to support the development of embedded hardware systems in cutting-edge automotive applications. You will design and validate schematics for digital/analogue circuits, embedded systems, and sensor interfaces.
You’ll play a key part across the product development lifecycle — from concept and prototype through to launch and testing — with a strong focus on quality, performance, and traceability.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Supporting the full lifecycle of electronic hardware development, from early concept stages through to system validation and product launch.
- Leading the debugging and troubleshooting of complex hardware issues using a wide range of lab and diagnostic tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analysers).
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers—to ensure seamless hardware integration and performance.
- Taking ownership of prototype assembly, testing activities, and verification processes to meet quality, reliability, and performance standards.
- Translating technical findings into clear documentation, including design updates, test results, and resolution logs to support traceability and team knowledge-sharing.
- Driving continuous improvement by identifying and addressing design inefficiencies and potential integration risks.
- Ensuring hardware designs are robust and production-ready by validating against relevant standards, environmental constraints, and functional specifications.
- Attending on-site test and development sessions across internal and external facilities as needed.
