Job Description

We are seeking a Dynamic PC Support professional to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. In this role, you will provide essential technical support for a variety of client products, performing basic to moderately complex troubleshooting activities for desktops and laptops. You'll be the go-to person for our clients, addressing their technical issues with professionalism and efficiency.

  • Deliver exceptional customer support for designated equipment, responding to service calls within established service level agreements
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on desktop computers, laptops, and related peripherals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
  • Interact directly with clients to address technical problems, providing clear and friendly communication
  • Complete all administrative tasks and real-time reporting associated with each service call
  • Manage and control assets and inventory, ensuring prompt turnaround of parts and equipment
  • Follow and adhere to established policies, guidelines, and safety protocols
  • Stay updated on the latest technology trends and support techniques to provide cutting-edge solutions
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and best practices
  • Travel to client locations as needed, occasionally involving long distances or overnight stays

Qualifications

  • Technical school certification or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in PC support or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in easy-to-understand terms
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and performing hardware repairs
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proper insurance
  • Physical ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Ownership of a basic repair tool kit
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • OEM Certifications (required as directed by management)
  • Previous customer service experience (preferred)
