Southview Manor:
We’re a 200 bed skilled nursing facility in the heart of the city, caring for geriatric and behavioral health patients in an older (but very lively) building. Our team is looking for someone to take the lead in two key areas: billing and business office management (BOM). It’s a hands-on, on-site role that puts you at the center of making sure our finances stay in order—so our patients can focus on getting better, not on paperwork.
Job Description
Are you someone who actually likes working with numbers? Do you get a weird satisfaction from finding that one missing payment or solving a billing mystery? If you’re detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with Medicaid, Medicare, and managed care claims, we’d love to talk with you.
What You’ll Do:
- Submit and track billing for Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and other insurance payers
- Handle collections and follow up on denials and remittances
- Review and fix errors in billing, claim forms, and statements
- Set up payment plans and assist patients or families applying for Medicaid
- Post cash, enter charges, and help reconcile the monthly census
- Manage patient trust funds and day-to-day office tasks
- Work closely with our regional finance team
Qualifications
A Few Things to Know:
- You’ll be our go-to person for billing and collections—this is a full-scope role
- This is not a remote job. You’ll be working on-site at our inner-city facility every day
- You’ll be working with real people and their families—so communication and compassion matter as much as accuracy, math and computer skills
What we need from you:
- Experience in a SNF or ICF in a Medicaid/Medicare billing role is a must
- Experience with Medicare, Public Aide / Medicaid A/R and collections is required
- Point Click Care (PCC) software experience is ideal, but not required
- Please specify your Medicare / Medicaid billing experience (when, where, how often, collectables ...) on resume cover letter / application for consideration.
Additional Information
- Please specify your Medicaid / Medicare billing experience (when, where, how often, collectables ...) on your cover letter / application for consideration.
