We’re looking for a well-rounded HR generalist who currently manages the full scope of human resources—from employee relations, benefits, and compliance to policy development, and day-to-day operations. What You'll Do:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including annual enrollment, employee education, and vendor coordination. Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Manage employee leave programs (e.g., FMLA, STD, LTD), ensuring all leaves are administered in compliance with applicable laws and company policy, with accurate tracking, documentation, and timely employee communication.
  • Manage the workers’ compensation program, including injury reporting, claims coordination, communication with insurance providers, and return-to-work planning.
  • Design and maintain the employee wellness program to incorporate events that align with employee interests and opportunities to improve the health and wellbeing of our workforce.   
  • Partner with leaders to develop and execute HR strategies and programs aligned with company-wide business goals and the annual People Plan.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the termination process, including final pay coordination, exit interviews, and collection of company assets, ensuring an effective and positive offboarding experience. 
  • Own and maintain the employee handbook and all company policies; ensure they are up to date, compliant, and consistently communicated to employees. 
  • With oversight and support, resolve employee relations issues in a balanced, fair, and objective manner using appropriate coaching, investigative and mediation techniques.  
  • Support workforce planning and changes; perform compensation research and reviews for effective job analysis; make recommendations based on external and internal equity.  
  • Ensure job descriptions are up to date and audited for all active roles in the organization, supporting with the creation of new job descriptions as necessary. 
  • Serve as a trusted and approachable resource for employees at all levels, creating a professional and supportive environment where individuals feel comfortable seeking guidance on a wide range of HR-related topics. Independently address general inquiries with clarity and care. When needed, research complex issues and collaborate with other HR team members to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
  • Monitor compliance with employment, immigration and benefit laws and regulations. Advise on impact and necessary changes to company policies, practices, or filings. 
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and contribute to building a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

What You Bring:

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • SPHR/PHR or SHRM-SCP/CP certification required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—you know how to build trust.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce is a plus).
  • Deep knowledge of benefits, compliance (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.), and open enrollment processes.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.

Travel & Work Environment:

  • Occasional travel between our Hooksett, NH HQ and local dealership.
  • Typical office setting with standard physical demands (sitting, typing, light lifting, etc.).
