Focus

  • Be the tactical Point of Contact responsible for assisting the GES Contractor Safety program.

  • Assist with the development and communication of clear contractor safety roles and responsibilities to support the construction sites for Project Managers, WHS, Operations Engineering, Startup and other stakeholders.

  • Support the Real-estate legal team and Category Procurement team in maintaining current safety requirements in relevant contracts.

  • Support daily execution of safety audit program and engage 3rd-party companies to complete construction safety audits and to meet safety documentation requirements.

  • Develop and distribute WHS audit scorecards.

  • Support construction project managers in follow-up of serious incidents and near misses.

  • Ad-hoc site visits to perform observations, support construction managers or participate in other site-based activities.

  • Prepare and maintain monthly and quarterly key performance indicator reports and records.

  • Support Project Manager training and processes related to contract oversight from a safety perspective.

  • Engage with WHS and Launch managers to provide field support, as needed.

  • Be a key stakeholder in the development of the WHS Construction Safety Management and Contract Risk Management (CRM) standards.

  • Stay attuned to changing regulations and industry trends.

  • Develop weekly, monthly and quarterly business updates for diverse leadership teams.

  • Support project managers to establish and maintain effective WHS work relationships with developers, general contractors and subcontractors.

  • Travel nationally up to 50% of the time.

About You

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
